Web Application Software Developer

We are seeking a highly motivated Web Application Software Developer who has a demonstrable track record of being an effective and creative team member in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while being a strong contributor to a diverse range of projects.

Primary Responsibility:

The ideal candidate is a full-stack software developer with a demonstrable preference to develop highly interactive and responsive presentation layers in a suite of complex web applications.

The successful candidate will work in an agile team consisting of Business Analysts, User Experience Analyst/Designers, Software Developers, and Quality Assurance Testers; translating user requirements, in the form of user-stories, acceptance-criteria, and lo-fi mockups, into fully functional Web Applications using HTML/CSS, ASP.Net MVC, Razor, and JavaScript/jQuery frameworks; delivering completed user stories at the end of each two-week sprint.

The candidate will be comfortable working in small agile teams and be confident when required to self-lead on specific user-stories.

In addition to coding and issue resolution, the successful candidate will actively contribute to technical requirements/design reviews and estimate work effort for new stories.

Knowledge/Skills Required:

• Full-stack Software developer with a focus on web-application, front-end/presentation layers
• C#, ASP.Net MVC, with demonstrable Razor and JavaScript/jQuery framework experience required.
• Strong CSS/HTML skills essential.
• Bootstrap, Knockout, React.js experience preferable.
• Must understand and have recent experience with Security Best Practices.
• Previous experience working in a HIPAA or other regulated product domain is preferable
• MS-SQL and/or Xamarin exposure is not mandatory but will differentiate otherwise equal candidates.
