Senior Node.js Engineer

We are working with an industry-leading retail company that is seeking to welcome a Senior Backend Engineer with a proficiency in Node.JS microservices architecture to their eCommerce platform team. This is a great opportunity to join a versatile, high-performing team that is developing business critical applications, including a digital transaction system and a brand new eCommerce application
We are looking for developers who enjoy solving complex problems and excel in building highly reliable, extensible applications.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of professional software development experience with JavaScript, preferably on robust enterprise-level applications
- 3+ years of professional experience with Node.JS
- Familiarity with SQL and database operations
- Familiarity with event-driven messaging systems (i.e. Kafka) (preferred)
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes (preferred)
