Maritime Capital is looking for a Quantitative Developer/Researcher in Ukraine to work remotely (an office setup will be provided if necessary). The responsibilities will include development and maintenance of data infrastructure, strategy and execution research. The candidate will work directly with the portfolio manager on his projects.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science or similar quantitative field (e.g., statistics, computer science, math’s). Graduate students in quantitative fields are encouraged to apply.
Experience: At least two to four years of strong Python programming experience (C++ is a plus) in a professional or academic setting following current PEP/Python patterns and standards to produce production quality code. Background in statistics, data science or applied mathematics is required.

— Experience with complex software systems, programming in Python and C++
