AppFollow is an App Monitoring, App Store Optimization, and Customer Support platform. Our main goal is to ease the everyday routines of app developers, product managers, marketing teams, customer support etc. AppFollow helps you gather and manage your apps and games data, increase app conversion rate, improve app store rankings and app user loyalty.

We are looking for a person to accelerate our growth. This is a fully remote opportunity for the Editorial Lead / Content Manager that loves writing attractive and easy-to-read blog texts, articles, press releases, etc. You will have great support team; ethical and principled workplace and will be working work with a Head of Marketing who is committed to your success.

A perfect candidate loves content, understands how to deal with different stakeholders and always experiments with ways of driving growth. You are a good communicator, know how to talk to different people getting the results you want. You know how good content looks like, understand how to create a content plan that brings traffic and leads to a website. You won’t stop if your goal is not achieved. You are capable of working on your own, as we don't have an office. We really don't care where you are located as long as you deliver.

Your daily responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Developing a content strategy in order to increase traffic, engagement of users with our content

  • Creating content (topic research, writing articles, etc)

  • Coordinating content creation (internal and external). Working with various stakeholders such as marketing managers, SEO specialists, product managers, freelance content writers, designers, etc

  • Creating and curating a content calendar

  • Performing editorial reviews of all the types of content that is being released, making sure it fits the company

  • Work with SEO Manager and to optimize content and improve web traffic

  • Deliver on marketing metrics (consumer acquisition, conversion & retention)

We expect you to have:

  • 3+ years of experience in web content publishing, copywriting

  • Ability to manage different projects at the same time with different stakeholders

  • Understanding and love for the mobile industry, be aware of the latest trends and news. You are a keen consumer of content, always up to date on the news and on trends (be they editorial, digital, or advertising related)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with all levels

  • Advanced English

  • Proven experience writing technical content in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong documentation, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience defining voice and tone guidelines, style guides, and writing processes that improve content quality

  • Experience defining content strategy and information architecture for business software/systems

  • A proactive attitude, ability to argue your position. Be responsible and a self-starter. We will help you with everything but you’ll have to execute tasks yourself.
