Intro
This role is to work as a contractor - which means you'll have to create your own company to provide services - with the possibility of internalization afterward.
Duration: 3 months to begin (ongoing project, without end date)
Availability: Full-time
Rate: 200 - 350€/day

You'll become a central piece of the newly created fast prototyping squad, charged with the task to quickly build and evaluate new product ideas and features in production.
You will analyze data trends to come up with ideas on possible features that the mobile and backend team members will implement. Then you will analyze the AB testing results and decide on the next iteration. All this in a fast pace and with the objective to achieve an exponential growth curve on users and revenue.
The fast prototyping squad will work hand-on-hand with the core product engineers to integrate the new deployments into the core system while not disrupting the code quality and server robustness.
Main requirements
- +4 years of experience in data science
- Strong experience using Python with numpy, scikit-learn, Pandas, etc.
- Strong business sense in order to connect between data and product
- Strong analytic skills and good intuition for what might or might not work, to drive recommendations for features to build in production
- AB testing skills to see what worked/didn’t on features sent to production
- Capacity to find a needle in a data haystack, even when you don’t know what you’re looking for
- Good spoken and written English
Nice to have
- Live in/around Lisbon and be able to work from ELSA’s office, located near Saldanha.
- Experience in analyzing consumer product features
