JOB TITLE: Customer Success Specialist (East Coast US & Canada)
HEADQUARTERS: Melbourne, Australia

We help our customers to grow by connecting them with their perfect customers through fast, easy and effective shout outs from other brands in our community. It’s a new type of marketing that rewards brands for having customers who love them and turns them into the media owner. It’s going to really take off.

So how do we do it.
  • We ask brands a bunch of easy questions to find out all about them
  • We then match them with brands to create their own unique mini network
  • We then help them shout out and be shouted out by these brands through simple emails, website plug-ins and social shout outs
  • And of course we help them along the way...

This is where you come in!
We are on the lookout for someone who has a positive, bright and sunny disposition. You’re the kind of person who loves helping your friends with their projects. You understand tech enough to handle an excel spreadsheet, resize an image and quickly learn new platforms like hubspot, but we don’t need you to be the go-to tech person in your family. 

Above everything else, you’re a people person who builds relationships quickly. Great if you have experience in customer success, but your role isn’t primarily tech support and picking up bugs, it’s helping people who run authentic brands to fall in love with Ampjar.

Here’s what you’ll do:
  • Priority one is to quickly understand our customers and help them fall in love with our product 
  • A big part of this is jumping on calls with our prospective and new customers to help them understand the value of being an active user
  • Talk our language in everything that you do
  • Keep your finger on the pulse of our customer base, helping our broader team understand what our customers want and what they are thinking 

We’re looking for a Customer Success champion that can:
  • Quickly become an Ampjar guru, jump on board and learn our product like the back of their hand
  • Be an excellent communicator with really, really good verbal and written skills
  • Not be shy to get in front of the camera and record how to videos for clients with ease
  • Know what it takes to make customers happier than they were before they met you! 
  • Be available from approx 9am-5:30pm Monday - Friday Eatern Time. On occasion you may need to check in on customer messages over the weekend.
  • Speak English with a native North American accent.

It’d be great if you also:
  • Have experience using Slack and Hubspot
  • Have experience working remotely and in the digital space
  • Have a passion for truly authentic small businesses
