Inside.com is a network of email newsletters. We publish 50 high-quality roundups that curate, summarize, and analyze all of the most important news in many different verticals and industries. Some examples are venture capital, beer, cybersecurity, electric vehicles, virtual and augmented reality, cannabis, artificial intelligence, drones, and more.
As the Content Strategist, your role at Inside is to guide us through the next phase of growth. You will own newsletter growth and your success here will be measured in net new subscribers.
We're looking for an experienced Content Strategist to track, analyze and understand our audience and what appeals to them. You’ll create content strategies, track data, and test new features with a goal of 10x-ing our subscriber numbers organically. And you’ll partner with our editors and writers to transform these insights into month-over-month subscriber growth.
Entrepreneurship. This is a fast-paced, high-energy role that requires expert understanding of data analysis, audience engagement and content strategies.
Grit. This is not a "go through the motions" type of role. You need the humility to roll up your sleeves and get shit done, the tenacity to keep a fast-growing editorial operation running smoothly, and creativity to ensure we never stop improving.
Leadership. A key part of this role is motivating those around you to maintain high quality, consistency, and creativity in the work we publish. We’re looking for a doer, a master teacher, and an outstanding coach for this role.
Communication. This role is as much about editorial as it is about managing and interacting with the team, priorities, and roadmaps.
Time management and organization. This is a demanding role that requires excellent time management and organization. You will have several tests running in unison and you’ll never drop the ball.
