Elephant Games is an international gaming company whose history began in 2003. Over this time, we have released over 100 hidden object games on PC, Mac, and Android. The geography of our team ranges from India to Argentina. Currently, we are actively working on creating our own IPs, experimenting with different genres, mechanics, and monetization models.
We are looking for an experienced 3D Artist to develop and maintain the visual style of projects in a small team. You will work closely with the project producer and Lead Game Designer.
Develop and maintain the visual style of projects;
Full cycle creation of in-game assets, including characters, environments, and other game elements, using modeling, texturing, and coloring in accordance with the chosen style;
Create UI and icons for projects;
Develop concepts and work closely with game designers to create unique visuals and implement new features in the game;
Integrate created models and textures into Unity, and collaborate with other team members to ensure high-quality implementation in the game;
Model using Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max (low-poly, mid-poly), including UV mapping, texturing, and exporting assets to Unity;
Develop game effects to create visually appealing and realistic elements;
Work with materials and shaders in Unity to achieve the required visual effects and optimize performance;
Rigging, skinning, and animation, including setting up skeletons and controls, working with weights, exporting and setting up animations from Mixamo, and integrating them into Unity;
Participate in creating and setting up animation cycles for characters and objects, ensuring smooth and realistic movements.
Excellent proficiency with 3D software such as Blender (modeling, texture painting and baking, rigging), Maya, or 3ds Max;
Deep understanding of design principles, composition, form, and color;
Ability to work with various artistic styles, adapting to project requirements;
Experience with Unity;
Knowledge of optimization processes for models and textures to improve game performance;
Experience with hyper-casual and hybrid-casual projects;
Generative prompting (Dalle-3/Midjourney/SD);
Has conversational skills in Russian.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience training Stable Diffusion (or other models);
Having a library of ready-to-use assets for projects.
Experience:
Working on hybrid/hyper-casual games as an artist/lead;
Bringing products to testing stages.
