Values Value, a recruiting company with expertise in game development, is looking for an experienced Lead QA Engineer for our client, a publisher of hyper-casual and hybrid-casual games, for their new Sandbox open-world project. The company connects game developers and helps them quickly test their projects on a live audience, develop the game, and release it to the market.
7-10 (QA department)
Estimating tasks and distributing them within the team.
Performing functional, regression, integration, usability, and other types of testing.
Test planning.
Preparing test result reports for the internal studio and development team.
Creating and maintaining test plans, checklists, and other documentation.
Coordinating with various departments to ensure quality development.
Experience managing a team of more than 2 people.
Over 2-3 years of experience testing mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.
Experience working with various types of mobile devices and operating system versions.
Knowledge of iOS and Android guidelines.
Experience with in-game advertising and purchases.
Knowledge of manual testing processes and methods.
Experience with various types of testing (functional, regression, integration, usability, etc.).
Understanding of client-server architecture basics.
Understanding of the software development life cycle.
Ability to create test plans, checklists, and report on test results.
Ability to estimate tasks.
Experience using Android Studio and XCode/other debugging tools.
Will be a plus:
Ability to read logs and identify errors.
Experience working with the Unity engine.
Ideally, a gamer with an understanding of the gaming industry and its nuances.
