Due to the expansion of our company's projects, we are currently looking for a 3D Character Animator
Character rigging (Maya only): basic knowledge of nodes is desirable (be able to tie blendshape to bone movement)
Character animation (Maya only): types of movement, gameplay abilities, basic facial animation. In-game characters have custom animations that reflect their character, story
Communicating with lead animator and 3d modelers on characters to create memorable images
Working with stylization, skill in Pose to Pose blocking is preferred
Experience with Maya and Unreal Engine
Experience with stylized keyframe animation
Basic understanding of 3d packages to communicate with character modelers
Basic understanding of how animations work in UE5 and/or willingness to learn the basics of the functionality quickly
Experience in game dev and understanding of how animations work in games (game timings, blends between animations), understanding of the game animation pipeline
A high level of familiarity with games and cartoons
We are not looking for an engineer, but an animator: primary understanding of the creative part of animation - knowing how to make it beautiful and expressive. It is highly desirable to be able to use constraints, but the ability to write scripts is no longer very important
Willingness to iterative development approach
