Create high-quality, visually appealing animations in Spine in all areas of the game based on provided mockups and sketches.
Engage in initial sketching, offering input on animation methods, and proposing solutions.
Deliver completed animations and ensure they are properly packaged and provided to developers.
Assist developers throughout the game development process.
Occasionally participate in company branding and marketing animations.
Maintain quality standards and accurately estimate project timelines.
Optimise assets so that our games run smoothly.
Take ownership of projects, manage priorities effectively, and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
Stay up to date with industry trends, new tools, and techniques to continuously improve the quality and impact of animations.
Take ownership of your own development to grow and learn.
3+ years of experience working with Spine.
Knowledge of Adobe packages like Photoshop and After Effects.
Able to convey emotions through animation.
Experience in iGaming and/or Figma is a plus but not necessary.
Understanding how to compile animations for a game pipeline.
Strong understanding of animation principles.
Strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in 2D animation for games, showcasing your ability to bring characters, objects, and environments to life.
Skilled in collaborating with an art team, juggling multiple tasks, and meeting deadlines.
Experienced in creating various engaging animations and adapting to existing styles and guidelines set by the Art Director.
A strong communicator who can articulate conceptual ideas and is open to receiving and giving constructive feedback.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a keen eye for aesthetics.
A desire to push animation to new levels of believability.
