We are looking for a game designer who can think in systems, take care of UX, develop existing ideas and create new ones with all project components in mind.
Description of gameplay systems, staging and acceptance of their implementation
Participate in the creation of new features (characters, weapons, gamemodes, etc.)
Maintaining documentation
Working closely with all departments to realise the designed experience (animations, sound, analytics, balance, etc.)
Participating in calls, brainstorms, team playtests
Participating in playtests (including initiating and running them) and analysing the feedback and analytics data received
Bringing a feature to release quality, ability to flag issues and get them resolved
3 years of experience as a system game designer in complex projects with high gameplay dynamics
Experience in creating and bringing large systems (combat systems, abilities, camera work, etc.) to release
A high level of experience in PvP shooters, especially abilty shooters, a systematic understanding of shooting and a love for the genre
Good understanding of the relationship between gameplay and levelling design in PvP competitive shooters
Good mathematical background, ability to analyse data and not afraid of interacting with game balance
Good skill in deconstructing third party projects
Emphasis on UX, good understanding of the impact of different aspects of the game (animations, vfx, sound, etc.) on the gameplay experience
Ability to maintain documentation (structure, clarity, formatting, literacy) and keep it up to date through iterations
Experience in assigning TORs to neighbouring departments (animation, VFX, sound, etc.)
Basic knowledge of UE or ability to get up to speed quickly
Experience with playtests, working with feedback
High creativity within the framework of wizen and design guides on features, willingness to see that only a small percentage of the best ideas will go into implementation
Willingness to work in a team - to develop other people's ideas, ability to discard their own in favour of better ones
High soft-skills, self-organisation and commitment
Would be a plus:
Conversational English
Knowledge of UE blueprints
High rank in PvP shooter
