Fractured Byte is currently seeking a talented Tech Lead Unreal Engine Programmer. If you have experience in game development, excellent knowledge of C++ and Unreal Engine, as well as delivering First Person Shooter games, we would be delighted to have you join our team.

- Tech leading development of First Person Shooter game on Unreal Engine.
- Building a strong technical culture and enhancing expertise within the team through mentoring.
- Do game features analysis, tasks decomposition, research and implementation.
- Taking ownership of the technical aspects of the project, including architecture, approaches, and processes.
- Collaborate closely with artists, designers, and other members of the development team to integrate gameplay features, visuals, and audio into the game. Facilitate communication and resolve technical dependencies between different disciplines.
- Provide technical guidance and vision for the game project, and ensure that technical decisions align with the game's design and performance requirements.
- Project technical risks assessment.
- 7+ years of experience in game development.
- 3+ years of experience working with Unreal Engine 4.
- Shipped at least 1 First Person Shooter game on PC or console.
- Excellent knowledge of C++ and object-oriented programming.
- Strong understanding of gamedev stack technologies (rendering, AI, physics, gameplay).
- Experience in building game project architectures from scratch.
- Experience in establishing effective workflows within a team.
- Shipped additional projects on UE4/5 engine in other genres.
- Experience working with consoles (Gen8, Gen9).
- Expert-level knowledge in one or more areas (rendering, AI, physics, gameplay).
- Experience in developing a proprietary game engine or participating in its development.
- At least Intermediate level of spoken English.
- Experience in managing a team of programmers (5+ individuals).
