We are seeking a talented Level Designer to join our team. The job will require design levels in the outdoor setting from scratch, creating and evolving Level Design Direction, collaborating with other departments.
• Work closely with other level and tech artists to bring the game’s vision to reality.
• Build levels with the highest quality and strong understanding of space articulation, navigation, and visual language.
• Use the proprietary game engine.
• Create and control the execution of all essential tasks assigned to other departments using a tracking system (Jira).
• Test self-created game content as well as the one created by other teammates.
• Create necessary accompanying documents for generated and controlled tasks.
• Give feedback on the work of inner and outer Art departments from the Level Design perspective.
• At least 5 years of work experience in the Game / Level Design position.
• 1+ shipped title as Senior Level Designer.
• Experience with game engines such as Unreal/Unity, CryEngine/Lumberyard or any modern proprietary game engine.
• Understanding of main Game Design principles and approaches in open-world (or similar) games.
• Understanding the value of visual language and how it can be applied to modern games.
• 10+ years of gaming experience (playing).
• Analytical mindset and ability to analyze what’s made good in games, what is not, and why.
