The Role

GOAT.Digital is looking for a Junior SEO Manager with WordPress knowledge to work across its expanding portfolio of clients. You will work with various clients within eCommerce, industry, technology and more. You are a proven self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. You are a person who loves to learn and innovate.

You:

• have a minimum of 1 year experience as a junior SEO manager at a digital marketing agency
• can do on-page optimization: meta-tags, subheadings, keyword placement
• knowledgeable of link building process and off-site SEO principles
• able to manage WordPress CMS, Search engine algorithms and dynamics of rankings with the ability to update website content, including setting up canonical tags, 301 redirects, install plugins, can do basic html, etc.
• use Google Search Console to monitor website indexation, troubleshoot issues
• conduct keyword research
• perform SEO audits to evaluate website health, identify technical SEO issues
  
• use SEO tools, such as: Ahrefs,  Screaming Frog
  
• detail-oriented

Additional Responsibilities:

• help in tracking, reporting, and analyzing website organic performance
• collaborate with the content team to recommend and apply SEO best practices
• contribute to link-building strategies and tactics to improve domain authority and rankings.
• work with the web development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented
• participate in team meetings and strategy sessions
