Technical artist Full-time

tinyBuild is a global video game publisher and developer focused on creating long-lasting, sustainable franchises across multiple media formats. The company is responsible for over 70 titles, including Hello Neighbor, Graveyard Keeper, and Potion Craft, and has a dozen development studios in the US, EU, Serbia, and Ukraine.

We are strengthening our team to work on a new multiplayer survival sandbox open-world project for PC.
You will have the opportunity to join the team at the very beginning of development and significantly influence the successful implementation of the project.

Team size and structure?

For which tasks (responsibilities)?
  • Shaders, materials creation from scratch, and working with existing ones

  • Creating and optimizing in-game graphic content, improving the quality of the game’s visual components

  • Developing, implementing and supporting new technical solutions for our artists

  • Maintenance of technical documentation 

  • Searching for third-party graphics solutions and optimizing them for the project

  • Monitoring and supervising the overall art department work from the technical standpoint

  • Writing toolkits for Engine (UE5, Unity)

  • By necessity, writing toolkits for 3d editors.

What kind of professional are we looking for?
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a technical artist in game development

  • Excellent knowledge of UE

  • Excellent knowledge of 3D graphics creation pipeline - from modeling to implementation and tuning in UE

  • Experience with version control systems

  • Understanding of UE rendering pipeline principles
