Render Programmer Full-time

Founded in 1995, GSC Game World is a prominent AAA development studio with over 400 employees. With bases in Kyiv, Ukraine, and Prague, Czech Republic, GSC Game World has released over 18 projects. The studio boasts in-house mocap and sound studios, as well as in-house QA, Cinematic, and Publishing teams. Possessing 7 unique IPs, GSC Game World is continually working on multiple projects in development

For which tasks (responsibilities)?
  • Work with others to ensure our rendering features shine brightly on a broad range of platforms.

  • Identifying bottlenecks and optimizing existing / future rendering code.

What kind of professional are we looking for?
  • 3+ years of professional experience.

  • 1+ year of experience with Unreal Engine, preferably with its rendering backend.

  • Proficient C++ Knowledge.

  • Thorough knowledge and proficient application of 3D math, rendering algorithms, and data structures.

  • Performance-minded development and optimization skills.

  • Self-driven in learning new rendering techniques and implementing them.

  • Strong Linear Algebra and Mathematical Analysis skills.

  • Conceptual fluency with physically-based rendering techniques.

  • Strong communication and proficiency working with technical artists to develop and iterate on features/tools.

    PREFERENCES

    • Knowledge of a broad range of graphics APIs and shader languages including DirectX 12 and OpenGL/GLSL. Experience of working with Vulkan API will be a plus.

    • Experience developing for 9th generation console hardware.
