Speedway Games is an independent studio developing and publishing games only on Roblox. We have over 2.6 billion visits to our games and more than 26+ million monthly active users. Our flagship game is Vehicle Legends, a top driving game on the platform for the last 4+ years, which features officially licensed vehicles.

We are seeking a Senior Environment Artist to join our team working on some of Roblox's top driving games. This position requires someone ready to work in a semi realistic art style.

What are you working on?

• Genres: Racing
• Platforms: PC, Mobile

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• Create high-quality environment assets (roads, race tracks, buildings, terrain, props, and so on)

• Design intricate map/level layouts for a driving/racing game

• Create 3D assets in 3d modeling programs and import them into the game engine

• Locate references and colors, effectively work within any provided style

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• Strong 3D modeling skills. Expert level proficiency in a 3D package such as 3DS Max, Maya or Blender. Alternatively, strong relevant experience within Roblox Studio

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a 3D Environment Artist

• Strong experience with level design and scene dressing

• Ability to work in a semi-realistic style

• Knowledge of optimization techniques for mobile games

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

• Promptly learn any new tools or techniques

• Ability to mentor less experienced artists

• Relevant portfolio for this position
