Nekki is a game development studio, the creator of Shadow Fight Arena, Shadow Fight 3, Shadow Fight 2, 11×11, and Vector. The total number of registered users for our games exceeds 1 billion worldwide. We develop and release games for PC, consoles, and mobile platforms.
Currently, we are looking for a Senior Environment/Material Artist for one of the studio's leading projects - SPINE.
SPINE is made with Unreal Engine 5 and centered around cinematic gun-fu shootouts. It's a third-person beat'em'up with a full set of PC gaming features, including a deep storyline, a unique setting, cutscenes, intriguing enemies, memorable bosses, character progression, and, most importantly, breathtaking battles with a wide array of firearms.
This project represents a new ambitious challenge for the company as it marks our first game for both PC and consoles.
Improve the visual quality of objects and optimize performance.
Work with shaders and materials.
Create textures and texture masks.
Collaborate with 3D artists to work on props and levels.
Search and implement new technical solutions to fulfill assigned tasks.
Experience with UE 5/4, knowledge of Material Editor
Experience creating materials for first- or third-person games for PC and consoles
Experience with Substance Designer
Understanding the principles of PBR and Material layering
Ability to independently search for technical information and solutions using various sources.
