We at Red Rift love what we do, and we are engaged in full cycle game development, and creating game content. Our company was founded in 2019 in Michigan. Now we are looking for a talented Unreal Developer, who will join the team to work on various projects in our studio.
This is a full-time remote role for a Middle/Senior Unreal Developer. The Unreal Developer will be responsible for combat melee system, gameplay mechanics and tools, as well as optimizing the overall game performance. More details about the project can be found out during the interview.
At least 3 years of full-time experience in product development using C++, including at least 2 years in general game development on Unreal Engine/C++, with at least 1 year focused on gameplay development for multiplayer games
Truly deep knowledge of the architecture of key classes, including the Gameplay Framework and GAS in Unreal Engine
Desire and ability to learn new things and engage in R&D tasks, such as EOS integrations
Passion for video games and a deep understanding of how game systems and mechanics work
Strong collaborative skills, passion to get work done efficiently and iteratively
Excellent communication skills, with English proficiency at upper-intermediate or higher levels
Interest in working in a horizontal structure with direct communication between departments (i.e., no unnecessary bureaucracy), increased responsibility (feature ownership) and creative freedom for developers, with workflows that include pull request flows with cross code reviews done by all dev team members
