Values Value is a recruiting company with expertise in game development and is currently looking for an experienced C++ Developer for our client, a porting house and co-development studio based in Singapore and Malaysia, that provides services for such top companies like Larian, 505 Games, Square Enix, Capcom, SEGA, From Software, Devolver Digital, GOG, TinyBuild, The Indie Stone and others.
As a new C++ Developer, you will be responsible for ensuring the game runs smoothly on new platforms.
Porting custom game engines on modern platforms. This also includes improving those engines by implementing modern middleware/techniques into them.
Development of specific game-related tasks (game mechanics updates, bug fixes, etc.)
Creating/updating tools for working with game assets.
5+ years of experience in C++ development
Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
Good understanding of C and C++ ABI
Understanding of hardware-specific performance optimizations (x86-64 and AArch64)
Experience with graphics and audio/sound programming is a plus
Good English-speaking skills.
Desirable requirements:
Experience with Unreal Engine 1, 2
3D graphics programming and optimization.
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with team members
