Senior Economy\Balancing Designer Full-time

For which tasks (responsibilities)?
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive game design documentation for in-game economies and monetization systems;

  • Balance in-game economy and meta-progression to create a challenging but rewarding balanced player experience;

  • Utilize a data-driven approach to enhance gameplay, optimize economy loops, and improve core and meta gameplay;

  • Shape the monetization strategy, pricing, and Live-Ops activities, aligning them with the overall game vision;

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest GaaS trends and practices. Work hand in hand with the analytics team to gather and interpret player data, leveraging these insights to enhance the overall player experience.

What kind of professional are we looking for?
  • At least 2 years of experience as an economy/balance designer

  • 3+ years of overall experience in the game design area

  • Strong math background and understanding of game-balancing principles

  • Experience with any kind of visual scripting language

  • Solid knowledge of Unreal Engine

  • Ability to work with complex game systems

  • Feature owner experience

  • B2 English or higher

  • Previously released project is a plus

  • Previous experience with participation in strategic PC games is a plus

What is important for us in a person?

Good to have

  • Experience with city-building, RTS, or strategy/tactical games as economy designer

  • Experience with roguelite games as a designer

  • Additional experience with balancing and game economy design

  • Good understanding of the player’s experience and how to impact it through balancing

  • Experience with blueprints, programming, and scripting

  • Problem-solving mindset

  • Being able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Be an avid gamer
