Technical Designer (Clockmaker) Full-time

We are Belka Games. Our company is one of the 20 highest-grossing game developers in Europe according to data.ai, and our audience recently surpassed an important milestone of 110 million players.  

We’re looking for a talented technical designer for our project Clockmaker. Our team has a well-established workflow and clearly defined duties for each member, which allows us to make decisions efficiently, prepare features for release extremely quickly, and see the results of our work during the production process. Our game is one of the five highest-grossing solitaire games on the market, and we’ve got ambitious goals for it going forward, so join us if you want to make your own unique contribution to our team.

What are you working on?
  • Genres: Casual

For which tasks (responsibilities)?
  • Be the link between developers and artists

  • Comply with the pipeline of graphical work for this project

  • Set your own tasks and assess deadlines for completing them within the team

  • Complete tasks to the expected quality standard

  • Optimize the project's graphic resources

  • Prepare in Photoshop and export 2D content to Unity

  • Work with original PSD layouts in Unity

  • Assemble events: cutscenes, translations, and configs

What kind of professional are we looking for?
  • Unity editor proficiency

  • Excellent understanding of the hierarchy of objects in Unity, asset structure, and UI optimization

  • Great Photoshop skills: working with smart objects, masks, and quick export

  • Understanding of the pipeline for creating content for mobile projects

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to work with Git

  • Profiling—assessing workload at launch

Would be nice:

  • Experience working with Spine

  • Skill with writing shaders

  • Basic programming skills

  • Photoshop drawing skills

  • Ability to write scripts (Photoshop)
