Position Description (fulltime, remote)

If you are a skilled QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience in software testing, passionate about ensuring the quality of products, and seeking an opportunity to contribute to ambitious projects while growing professionally and personally, then this role might be perfect for you.

We are currently seeking a dedicated QA Engineer to join our team, focusing on ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through comprehensive testing procedures and collaboration with cross-functional teams. This position offers the flexibility of hybrid work while emphasizing teamwork, positive collaboration, and achieving project goals.

Main Focus/Responsibilities

• Testing: Design, create, and execute test plans and test cases to ensure the software meets quality standards.
• Bug Identification: Identify, report, and track bugs and issues in the software.
• Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts to increase the efficiency and coverage of testing.
• Quality Metrics: Establish and maintain quality metrics and standards, ensuring the software performs well and is free of defects.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to understand new features and functionalities, ensuring they are tested thoroughly.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive test documentation and reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Cyber security, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and practices 
• Proficiency in writing clear and concise bug reports and test cases and experience with XML/JSON and creating API tests
• Skills in managing developed tests using Junit/TestNG
• Proficiency in Selenium/Selenide, Maven/Gradle, Zephyr
• Proficiency in Git
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and identify root causes
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with proficiency in English for written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
