About the ArtStyle:
We are focused on Realistic proportion with subtle stylization. Cleaner visuals, with not too much of grunge and textures as micro details are something we need in the game. Our artstyle is inspired from real world proportions but highly influenced with the mobile world where technical limitation is handled with stylization.
Responsibilities:
Use 3D modelling, texture, UV mapping, and other techniques to create game ready 3d models.
Collaborate with other artists and attend daily meetings to discuss ongoing progress and other project related details.
Understand the project and asset requirements for various art forms including Stylized, realistic, semi-realistic and many others.
Incorporate feedback from team leads, colleagues, and clients, refining creations based on received comments.
Develop 3D assets including environment, props, characters assets that meet established artistic standards and project objectives.
Meeting with Directors to discuss and review projects and deadlines.
Document 3D assets creation/optimization process to pass info to other teammates. If required, also train other co-workers with new findings with knowledge sharing.
Follow daily project and task related reporting by providing required details to the lead and project manager.
Only use authorised tools and stocks to create/modify any content.
Qualification:
Proficient in 3D modelling software such as Zbrush, Blender, Substance Painter, Substance Designer
Proficient in hand painted textures
Good sense of form, shape and silhouette in regards to objects
Understands technical constraints and integrates them when modelling
Familiarity with Unity game engines
Knowledge of industry-standard workflows and pipelines.
Ability to take direction well
Creative and resourceful in problem-solving
Previous experience in a 3D Artist role in mobile RPG genre and mobile pipeline is a big plus
Ability to work within deadlines and good time management
Strong collaborative and communication skills
Open to learn new skills and evolving yourself as an artist
Technically proficient, able to identify and collaborate on pipeline innovations
A dedicated interest for games
Proficient in English
